San Jose, CA – Diakopto announced today the company has doubled its global engineering team to further accelerate innovation and expansion of its product portfolio to meet growing market and customer needs.
As a leading provider of game-changing EDA software solutions, Diakopto is further strengthening its technology leadership to deliver highly differentiated products to the semiconductor industry. The expanded engineering team will enable the company to more rapidly enhance existing products and develop new solutions. This expansion comes on the heels of the company’s successful launch of its ParagonX™ product and methodology, which has been adopted by over 35 Tier One companies worldwide.

The company’s new engineers bring decades of experience in EDA software development, computer science, physics, mathematics and engineering, with the overwhelming majority of them holding Ph.D. degrees.
As part of this expansion, Diakopto has added Igor Soltan to its engineering management team. He joins the company as Director of Software Engineering, bringing 25 years of experience in EDA software development and management to the company. “I am honored and excited to join such a fast growing and successful company taking a fresh and unique approach to solving an increasingly difficult set of problems facing the IC industry,” he said. “I look forward to helping Diakopto further accelerate its engineering excellence and achieve the next phase of product and customer growth.” He holds a Ph.D. degree from Moscow State University.
